unattainable dreams

Oftentimes, we try to finish something as fast as possible.  We hurry.  We rush. We want to get something done and move on to the next thing.

But the greatest work one can do is often the thing that has no end.  

As a child, we dream big. 

And as we graduate and head to college, we have dreams of changing the world.  Of ending poverty.  Of ending world hunger.  

And as we get older, dreams that are unattainable begin to fade away.

But they don’t have to. Usually, we just let them go.  

But that which is the greatest accomplishment you can make will not be something you can finish.  It’ll be something you’re working on, something or someone you’re serving, until the day you are no longer.
