I grew up in the cornfields of Indiana before attending school in Texas and Virginia. 15 years ago, I packed up all of my belongings and took an unpaid internship in Portland, Oregon. And since then, Portland has become home. But you can also find me on road trips around the states (all the National Parks please!) or visiting friends around the globe with trips to Zimbabwe and India amongst other places.

And if you can’t find me on the road, well, just check your local coffee shop because there is a good chance I might be in there with a stack of books while writing a blog :)
