when nothing else matters
Sometimes things happen in the world that simply slow it down.
Death, tragedy, epidemics, to name a few.
Where all of a sudden, the world isn’t so fast. It’s spinning a little bit slower. The next thing doesn’t matter so much. The next task goes undone. The noise grows a little more silent. The birds are chirping again. The wind is blowing. The sun is shining.
And somehow, in that heartache, you rest.
You stop.
You remember.
And you wait for new life to return.
