We all wonder if what we’re doing matters.  

Are the choices we are making really making any difference?

We think the things we do each day are small and of little significance.

Yet, if we believe that everything we do is connected to the next thing than there’s nothing truer than the quote from Lawrence Kushner’s book, God was in this Place & I, I did not know which states, “If everything is connected to everything else, then sooner or later everything matters; everything is potentially historic.”

Not only does everything we do matter.  It has the potential to make a lasting impact on the world.

Yes, the simplest of tasks can be historic.  Because that leads to the next thing which leads to the next thing with ripple effects unending.
