gospel of the extra mile

The great thing about how far you go is that it’s up to you.  People may be able to turn you down, or reject you, or send you away.  But no one can keep you from knocking on the door, picking up the phone, and going the extra mile. 

Even if we don’t get what we want the first time...  The only person who can stop us from trying again is ourselves. 

We often think it’s others who are limiting us but there’s no one who can stop you from going an extra mile. 

So next time you feel hurt, reject, unheard… take another step, and keep walking.  Because no one can stop you from going as far as you want to go.
