gospel of treasure

gospel of treasure

“Where there is ruin, there is hope for a treasure.”

(Rumi, a Persian poet who lived in the 1200’s)

We all hope for treasure.  We desire treasure.  Sometimes we even feel we deserve treasure.

But treasure doesn’t simply come our way easily.  It often comes through pain, it comes through heartache, it comes through the processing of grief.

Treasure isn’t something to stumble upon.  It’s something we often have to search for from within.  To find where our pain is, to be vulnerable with it, to find its healing.

Once you find your ruin, once you find your hurt, you’re likely not that far from your treasure.

Because treasure isn’t found at the end of a rainbow in a pot of gold.  It’s found in sharing the healing you have received within.  It’s found when that healing allows you to access and express the love that bursts from within you.  That is a treasure worth hunting.
