if it were you

If you were born there instead of here, would your position change.

If your skin was this color instead of that color, would your perspective differ.

If you were born into this religion instead of that religion, would you treat others the same.

If you were that gender instead of this gender, would you still agree.

If you were born on the other side of the economic scale, would you view it the same way.

Life doesn’t give us the same directions.  But it often does put us on the same path.

When you find someone on the path, you don’t have to tell them which way to go, you can just hold their hand.
