gospel of time
Everyone knows the sacredness of time.
That we all get the same amount. From the President to the to the doctor to the construction worker to each one of us. We get the same hours, the same minutes, and the same seconds in a day.
Some love to make the most of their time. Some wish it would simply pass by.
Sometimes you wish you could stay in a moment forever. And sometimes forever can't come soon enough.
Time can be life's greatest gift. And time can be life's greatest misery.
Time isn't, contrary to the song, always on your side. Contrarily, time isn't always against you either.
Sometimes time offers rejoicing and sometimes time offers pain.
I looked but did not see it, in the sky
But I thought you told me, time does fly
I asked you how, could you tell me why
If time is alive, why did mine die
I held its hand and began to cry
Time, like love, can be so blind
Even when it felt a lie
I let it free and said goodbye
