turns out i was wrong
I’m a week into breathwork & tea
The first morning, I reached for my phone 10 times without purpose… before 10am
I’ve had 3 visceral arguments inside of myself of trying to tell me I need to use it for business purposes when I know that’s not true
But regardless, all the apps that are unneeded have been deleted
I’ve been working pretty much 3 full time jobs (by choice), which as crazy as it is, wow, what a blessing coming from two years of hustle hustle hustling
3 jobs has been an interesting time to set the phone aside, typically working this much in stressful situations would give me extreme anxiety. Instead, I’ve taken deep breathes, I had an EMDR session, I visited my nutritionist, I took a nap.
I think the thing that has surprised me the most about setting my phone aside is that I don’t miss it. I guess I thought I would. Or I didn’t think at all. I just assumed something I always had by my side must be very important, and turns out, I was wrong.
