out of space

I missed two weeks of writing in this space for the first time in 10 years

My mom supportively said, “It’s okay, you’ve been really busy”

And that’s true, but we always have time for the things we want to make time for

It’s not so much busy as it is margin

I’m working on a handful of creative projects and the margin for creative mind space only goes so far

When you’re dependent on that creative mind space to make you a living, it’s even more… what’s the word… scarce, scary, exciting, invigorating, frightening

I’ve been typing, erasing, and re-typing my next line

But I can’t seem to wrap the perfect ending of words around

I guess that means… I’m out of space for now
