fate
“I don’t think any of us should trust fate to write the story of our lives.” – Donal Miller
I went through a season of life where everything I touched turned to gold.
I went through a season of life where everything I touched tended to die.
I haven’t found much middle ground apparently.
It was easy to trust fate in the gold-seasons.
It is gut-wrenching to trust fate when things are dying.
But I do believe there is a middle ground. A fall to the winter. A spring to the summer.
The seasons of life, the circles of life, come just as fate touches (or bypasses) things along the way.
And no matter what season we find ourselves in, we get to determine the purpose of it.
Fate can be a terrible writer.
But we don’t have to be.
