small feats go a long way

small feats go a long way

It’s not easy to be quiet.

To turn things down or even off.

In fact, I just walked through a forest while listening to podcasts in double speed.

But it’s those moments when you stop.

When you look around and notice the leaves changing, the branches at your feet, and the colors of the forest, it’s then, when your soul quietly finds rest.

It’s when you listen that you can hear.

It’s when you stop that you can see.

It’s a small feat to pause for a moment.

But that moment may speak more to you than hours of noise ever could.
