cut the crap

They asked Michelangelo, “How did you build this beauty out of this slab of marble (in references to the David)?” He replied, “The beauty was inside of it, I just had to cut all the crap out of it."

There’s beauty everywhere.

Inside and out.

But sometimes we allow our mistakes, our past, our doubts, our fears to build up walls in and around us.  And soon… squelching the beauty of that which is within.

But as we begin to let go of the things that clutter and cloud what’s in us, we allow the beauty to surface.
