achievement vs fulfillment

Achieve, achieve, achieve.

Strive, strive, strive.

Push, push, push.

Accomplish, do, undertake.

We live in a culture that values achievement.  That values accomplishment.  That values things that can be counted and measured.  

But something more important than all the things you can achieve on the outside is your fulfillment within.  

No trophy or award brings fulfillment in itself.  

But being true to who you are will bring fulfillment regardless of who pats you on the back.
