i'm not on a mission trip

As this goes to publishing, I will be in the air on my way to Zimbabwe. 

People call it a mission trip, and I understand that language is easier for some.  But I prefer calling it something simpler, like a visit. 

I never intend to go on a mission trip for 2 weeks or a month.  I intend on going somewhere and investing my heart and life.  And that somewhere might be across the street, into town, or across the water. 

Whichever way you look at it, it’s just doing life, and doing it together.
