the lost art of boredom

the lost art of boredom

Do you remember the times when you used to get bored?

Before there were devices that could be clicked and in an instant, pain would ease.  Loneliness would find someone.  Discouragement would be smiled upon.  Lust would find a companion.  And desire would be filled.

And yet, somehow, we are still empty.

Boredom used to spark creativity.  Now boredom sparks the click of a button which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click which sparks another click
