gospel of a season

Just like there are seasons in a year, there are seasons in our lives. 

Seasons where everything is going our way.  Seasons where nothing seems to go our way. 

Seasons where we plant.  Seasons where we grow.  Seasons where we harvest.

Seasons where the rains come down.  Seasons where the sun shines bright. 

Seasons we come out of with an abundance.  Seasons we barely come out of at all.

We can’t be disappointed when the sun doesn’t come out in the winter.  And we can’t assume the sun will always shine when it’s summer. 

And when you’re in one season, someone else will always be in a different season.  So when you can see the sun and you find yourself shining, don’t forget to share the light.
